There is quite a lot to explore.

​We are starting this Sunday, January 5th with our traditional Burning Bowl Ceremony at our Sunday Service now at 12:30 pm in the Chapel at the Claremont Center for Spiritual Living located at 509 S. College in Claremont, 91711.  The parking lot is behind the church, so when you come, take the northern most of the 3 driveways that are together, park behind the church. The Chapel, where our services are held is n the middle building. Our offices are on the north (other) side of that same building. 

 

Our new Sunday Service Series on Spiral Dynamics will begin this Sunday with an overview and then we will have guest speakers join us each week as we explore our evolving levels of consciousness, beginning at the bottom with survival. 

 

Donyielle Holly from the City of Pomona's Housing Department will be with me to present about the Beige Survivor mind-set on Sunday, January 12th. Her work with the homeless in Pomona and at Hope for Home is her ministry!

 

Then on Sunday January 19th Danny Peterson, a drummer and missionary from South Africa will help me present about the Purple Tribal Consciousness. I've asked him if we can bring our drums!

 

Once again Rev. Drak Druella will bless us by helping explore the Red "I'm doing it my way" mindset on Sunday, January 26th. 

 

There are many ways to understand ourselves using this model.

Here is an example of various midsets in each.

 

This series will continue through February and into March past the Turquoise and into even more exciting models of  holistic conscious. I hope you will join us and our community neighbors as we work to understand ourselves and thus our neighbors at deeper and more accepting levels. I am attaching a January bulletin for you to puruse. 

 

We love our new space and feel very fortunate to be there. Every Sunday we continue to gather after our service for Food, Fellowship and Spiritual Discussions! We hope you will join us!

 

This coming Friday, January 10th at 12:30 pm all are invited to Lunch Out to reconnect informally at Denny's at 820 South Indian Hill Blvd. in Claremont, CA (just south of I-10 on Indian Hill). It is close to our new church location and anyone can join Jacqi and I for a tour of our new space after lunch. I do hope you will come!

 

Baha'i friend Almitra Henderson has asked us to host their next Soul Connection Meeting on Sunday January 19 from 4:30  5:30 pm. The topic will be on Race Unity and Almitra will find musicians, artists, and presenters for our time together. 

 

After this we hope to go the the Annual  MLK Project at Pilgrim Church in Pomona which begins at 6 pm.
